 Professional & Personal Background

Katherine has been working for the Community Health Department since March of 2017. She is currently working as a Community Health Nutritionist. Her focuses include educating on a variety of health ailments/diseases and the relationship to nutrition, as well as the following: maintaining the Infant Nutrition Program (which focuses on the health and nutrition of babies ages 0-12 months old), enrolling and certifying families into the WIC (Women, Infant and Children) Program in Wisconsin, nutrition counseling, nutrition-focused education lectures and student nutrition education in the after-school program. Katherine's passion is to assist in positive, healthy changes in the community in accordance to Quality Improvement studies to combat nutrition-related conditions and diseases.
