National Public Health Week takes place April 3rd– 6th, 2018. The theme for this year is “Healthiest Nation 2030: Changing Our Future Together.” Come join the Community Health Department and other departments during the week to learn more about certain health topics and how to improve these health concerns. Stop by the Forest County Potawatomi Health and Wellness Center to participate in some activities or gain some new knowledge on a health topic.
The Community Health Department will focus on a new public health topic each day. During the week, we are focusing on informing community members on how to make advancements towards improving the future of health. Each of these health topics has a high concern in our nation. The topics have been selected based on how severely they affect our nation’s health. Come join us and take part in becoming a healthier individual, community, and nation. Every individual can make a change in their own life or help support another individual. Let’s work together to create a healthier community and a safer environment for OUR FUTURE.
