Hope Gilligan - RN, Maternal Child Health Nurse

 Professional & Personal Background

Hope has worked for the Community Health Department as the Maternal Child Nurse since July 2019. She educates new and expecting mothers and fathers about the importance of healthy lifestyle choices and provides them with necessary skills to ensure their children have safe and healthy beginnings. She provides home/office visits, infant assessments, prenatal and postpartum assessments, childhood immunizations, breastfeeding support and education about various health and safety topics.

Prior to working for the Community Health Department, Hope has worked as a Team Lead in a Pediatric Clinic for 7 years and Family Practice for 3 years. Hope has also worked for the local school district providing health promotion and education.
