2017 Fall Hike

On Saturday, September 16, 2017, 20 FCP Tribal Members and their families joined the Forest County Potawatomi Community Health Department for the 8th Annual Fall Hike. This fun packed agenda included hikes totaling 6 miles on the Ice Age Trail, at Rib Mountain State Park, and the Dells of the Eau Claire.

According to the American College of Sports Medicine and the American Heart Association, individuals are recommended to receive 30 minutes of physical activity five days each week. Physical activity, like hiking, has many health benefits including significantly lowering one’s risk of cardiovascular disease.
