Yvonne has worked for the Community Health Department as the Maternal Child Health/WIC Community Health Representative (CHR) since 1999. She educates new and expecting mothers and fathers about healthy lifestyle choices to ensure their children have safe and healthy beginnings. She provides office/home visits, car seat safety education, breastfeeding support, health and safety education, promotes immunizations, schedules well-child visits and assists with infant, prenatal and postpartum assessments.
